Tecnofire® Properties
The combination of raw materials used in the manufacture of Tecnofire® intumescents results in products which react to form a stable, highly insulating char. The Tecnofire® intumescent portfolio includes both flexible and rigid materials with expansion characteristics tailored to satisfy a multitude of application requirements.
         

Tecnofire® Applications
Tecnofire® intumescents are used in the manufacture of door seals, pipe collars and wraps, glazing seals, grilles and vents, fire stop pillows and expansion joint seals (linear gap seals). Tecnofire® intumescents are also used to upgrade the fire resistance of doors, walls and ceilings and to impart fire resistance to fibre reinforced plastic composites.
