Technical nonwovens for use in lead acid batteries including separators, slip sheets, pasting papers and glass retainer mats designed to meet individual needs   A range of separator products is available based on glass fibre. Products are designed in partnership with battery producers and can incorporate other fibres such as quartz, alumina and high performance textiles fibres.   Carbon fibre nonwoven mats are used as the base material for carbon/carbon composite electrodes and separators for fuel cells. TFP is a main supplier of these products to the phosphoric acid fuel cells market and are active in supplying materials to the emerging technologies of PEM fuel cells and solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC's)
